| We are pleased to announce a symposium in honor of Dr. J. P. Richard Thomas (Professor, Department of Biology, University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras), for his numerous contributions to West Indian herpetology, and to Puerto Rican zoology in particular. Although Richard is not planning on retiring just yet, it is time to express our sincere appreciation for his scientific accomplishments. The conference will be held at the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras Campus (San Juan, Puerto Rico), on Saturday, 6 June 2009. |
